A visit to a garden

          A visit to a garden is always a delightful experience. The other day, I visited a beautiful garden near my home. The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by a cool breeze and a wonderful fragrance of flowers. The garden was full of colorful flowers like roses, marigolds, and lilies. There were many tall trees that provided a nice shade.

            I saw children playing on the swings and slides, while older people were sitting on benches, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. The sound of birds chirping and the gentle flow of water in a small fountain made the place even more magical. It was a perfect escape from the noisy city life. A garden truly is a place where you can relax and feel close to nature.

           Independence Day is a very special day for all Indians. We celebrate it on August 15th every year to remember the day India became free from British rule in 1947. This day reminds us of the sacrifices made by our great freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, and many others.

          On this day, the Prime Minister of India hoists the national flag at the Red Fort in Delhi, followed by a national anthem. People celebrate this day with great enthusiasm by decorating their homes, schools, and offices with the tricolor flag. It is a day of great pride and happiness for all of us. It reminds us of our duty to protect the country's freedom and unity.

 Trees are a very important part of our environment. They provide us with clean air and food. Life on Earth is not possible without trees. They produce oxygen, which we breathe. Trees absorb carbon dioxide and purify the air.

They give us shade and provide a home for birds and other animals. Trees also help bring rain. Their roots hold the soil, which prevents soil erosion. Trees provide us with many useful things like fruits, vegetables, wood, and medicines. Therefore, we should plant more trees and protect them.

          A fair is a wonderful place filled with joy, color, and excitement. The moment you step inside, you are greeted by a vibrant atmosphere. The air is filled with the sweet scent of cotton candy and popcorn, and the sounds of laughter and music echo everywhere.

          The fair grounds are a feast for the eyes. There are countless stalls selling all sorts of things, from handmade crafts to delicious street food. You can try your luck at various games, like ring toss or shooting targets, hoping to win a prize. Children's faces light up with delight as they ride the colorful carousels and spinning teacups.

         One of the main attractions is always the big Ferris wheel. Slowly, it lifts you high into the sky, offering a spectacular view of the entire fair and the surrounding area. The rides, with their thrilling twists and turns, are a huge draw for people of all ages.

           In the evening, the fair comes alive with twinkling lights. The performances and music on the main stage draw a crowd, and the whole place feels magical. A fair is more than just an event; it's a memorable experience that brings people together to celebrate and have fun. It is a day of simple pleasures and lasting memories.

               My name is Ghanshyam. I am 11 years old and study in class 6. I live in Surendranagar with my family. I love reading books and playing outdoor games. 2) Cow

                  The cow is a very useful animal. It gives us milk, which is healthy and full of nutrients. Cows are gentle and calm. They eat grass and leaves. In India, cows are respected as a sacred animal. Farmers use cows to plow fields. Cow dung is also used as fuel and fertilizer. We must take good care of cows because they help us in many ways.

3) My School

                 My school is the best place to learn new things. Its name is Sardar Patel School, and it has many classrooms, a big playground, and a library. Our teachers are kind and teach us with love. We celebrate different festivals and take part in various activities. I have many friends at school, and we study and play together. I love my school because it helps me grow and learn.

4) My Class

                   I study in class 6, and I love my class very much. There are 30 students in my class. Our class teacher is very kind and teaches us good manners. We have different subjects like Math, Science, and English. We also have a lot of fun during games and activities. All my classmates are friendly and helpful. I enjoy learning new things in my class every day.

5) Elephant

                  The elephant is the largest land animal. It has a big body, large ears, and a long trunk. Elephants are very strong and intelligent. They eat grass, fruits, and leaves. Elephants are used in forests to carry logs and sometimes in festivals. In India, elephants are also worshipped. They are friendly animals and must be protected from hunting.

6) My Family

               My family is very loving and caring. There are five members in my family – my parents, my grandparents, my younger sister, and me. My father is a teacher, and my mother is a homemaker. My grandparents tell us interesting stories. We eat together, play together, and help each other. I love my family very much because they always support and guide me.

7) My Village

                I live in a beautiful village named Sitapur. It is surrounded by green fields, trees, and a small river. The air in my village is fresh and clean. Most people in my village are farmers, and they grow crops like wheat and rice. There is a school, a temple, and a market in my village. People here are kind and helpful. I love my village because it is peaceful and full of natural beauty.

8) My Best Friend

                My best friend’s name is Vishal . We study in the same class and sit together. He is kind, honest, and always helps others. We play together, share our lunch, and study for exams together. My best friend is very good at drawing and tells funny jokes. I feel happy and safe with my best friend. I am lucky to have such a wonderful friend in my life.

My Favourite Festival -Diwali

 My Favourite Festival 

      Diwali is my Favourite festival. It is the festival of lights. It is celebrated in all parts of our country. 

     We celebrated this festival every year in the month of October or November. On this day, lord Ram returned his home after 14 years of vanvas. 

     A few days before Diwali, people clean their houses,shopes and offices and get them white washed. on the night of Diwali, lamps are lit in every town and city. People buys new clothes.They exchange sweets and gift also. children spend money in buying crackers. At night people worship 'Laxmi' the goddess of wealth. 

      Diwali is the festival of joy. I love this festival.
